PLEDGE/COMMIT #stayathome
To fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic United Nation World Peace Association is asking everyone to do the challenge and pledge; stay at home, stay safe.
The outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, and the virus has spread to many countries and territories. While COVID-19 continues to spread, it is important that communities take action to prevent further transmission, reduce the impacts of the outbreak and support control measures.
There’s something each of us can do to help. We can avoid being exposed to this virus and spreading it. To protect vulnerable populations. To care for our community together, to flatten the curve and practice good social distancing. We are pledging to stay home. Created a global health crisis that has had a deep impact on the way we perceive our world and our everyday lives. Not only the rate of contagion and patterns of transmission threatens our sense of agency, but the safety measures put in place to contain the spread of the virus also require social distancing, as well as public alarm, what has been and can be the role of the different mass media in our lives on individual, social and societal levels.
